Brief Description:  Spar/Wing alignment

As the Flox cured last night I couldn't sleep well until I knew that After the cure, things would still be lined up. I pulled the wife out of bed and we went to work. I set up the fuselage outside and bolted both wings on to get a TRUE perspective. Now Rutan has you align the incidence with basically a 2x4 that aligns with a template and the longerons. Unlucky for me the template I had didn't show equality between the wings and in my opinion was a rough way to align it. Instead I aligned the spar at the rear where the bolts go through to a 90 degree angle with the longerons. I then bolted the wings on and got equal angles as best I could by comparring identical surfaces of both wings. I've concluded that a total of 3 washers in 2 locations will be sufficient for hands off stability, however I will be flying it in primer so that AFTER all adjustments are made, I will be able to make a smooth transition from strake to wing instead of potential uneven lines. ALL in all everything lined up surprisingly well as seen in the pics. Even sweep is off my only 1/2". :)
