The bottom of the fuselage had a place for a landing light to be retracted, but with new LED technology, i'll be going with a different setup. I covered the foam with wet micro and peel ply and will be glassing it over later to achieve a smooth surface. Note that typically, you never want to place glass over micro, but due to the location and size of the fill, it really doesn't matter. In other areas it would be out of the question.
