This is yet another example that shortcuts are NEVER shortcuts. When installing the fuel sump blisters, I opted for 1 ply BID over dry flox when the plans called for 2 plies BID over wet flox. BIG Difference. I had the identical problems with the right sump leaking so this wasn't a shocker. The micro filler was holding the fuel in and when I sanded the small delams, fuel poured out. I've decided to sand off all the filler on both the left AND right blisters before paint. However, NOT while I have to work upside down. These fuel leaks will be fixed for now, but when I get her turned upside down for final paint prep, There will be major surgery done to absolutely ensure a leak free system. Ugh!
