Pump 2 has been leaky in the past but decided to act up again now that the weather is cooling down. The crush washer I installed is leaking fuel so I'll need to torque it down again or replace it with a better washer. I'm assuming the weather has something to do with it. My only qualm is that it's difficult to torque the fitting due to the pump housing having nothing to grip to. I may even swap out the pump if it comes to it. I've got another one ready to go. I found the pump was leaking when I removed the passengers carpet on the floor and saw a puddle. I am replacing the carpet and am also prepping to swap out the blue fuel lines in prep for running pump gas in this bird. The whole airplane is Ethanol ready minus whatever UL Power has to say about these lines. Leaded fuel is just going to start causing too many engine issues, so here I go with pump gas.
