Brief Description:  Everything Stops.

Today some things happened that may very well stop this project dead in it's tracks and maybe for months.....

it took the help of James Bailey and my A&P to install the wings today. What could have taken 30 minutes is still not finished after 6 hours. Sanding the lips to avoid contact was a major part of it but the biggest was finding that the Upper inside right spar bolt was too short by a Whopping 3/8". I think I may have swapped it with the left bolt due to the other bolts excessive left over threads that are showing. However, I'm going to be ugly in what I'm about to say: I came home and found a suitable bolt to replace the short one, and re-installing it won't be a big deal, but after installing the wings and changing the washers for better incidence, I noticed something extremely depressing. The right wing sits a good 2" higher than the left when looking at the canard for reference. I then remembered WAY back to the spar installation and remembered having to shim the right side UP quite a bit in order to level it with the canard. the problem was that my right wing was not drilled to compensate for this and now it sits high. There is a SMALL chance that it may also be the canard that isn't level and tomorrow I'll be checking all this out, however if it proves uneven and most likely is, then I will have an emmaculate long ez that isn't straight worth beans. And it is permanent.
Totally ashamed I called Robert Harris from EZ Jets and what a wonderful conversation it was. However it trailed off into another subject that may ground me for a LONG time..
