Some forethought. The trailing edges of both ailerons were not straight at all. In fact, the right wing's aileron is 1.5lbs overweight and the TE curves up in the middle by 1/4"!!! I am going to attempt to fix the aileron hopefully without adding any weight but that will be difficult. The left wings aileron is not so bad, but due to the fact that I will have to rebuild sections of BOTH ailerons now, I am seriously considering building 2 new ailerons from the ground up. I'm guessing a month and $500 would be the most expensive and time consuming that it could be and it may end up being worth it. For now, The outside edges of this aileron have been closed out with 2 plies BID per plans.
