Brief Description:  Time for an inspection and cleanup

I was inspired by another builder last week to give some attention to my nose gear lift after seeing his all cleaned up. I went and removed my VPX, and the actuator cover to find that the 2 main bolts holding the gear actuator in place were both loose and working their way out. Had it not been for the actuator cover, I'm sure they would have come out which could have been a disaster. This time, I applied blue tocktite to both and torqued them to 120 in. lbs. That should do it :)
I also took time to lube up the unit and make a small adjustment to the limit switches for more throw and cleaned them up as well.
Tomorrow I'll get her all cleaned up as well as the rest of the nose interior. I'll also be installing standoff brackets for the Cabin Heaters so that water won't get in them, causing a blown fuse again...
