Brief Description:  Pedal restraints

I've highly modified the angle and throw of Dale Martins rudder pedals to suit me better but one last thing remained to be done. In my mod, I changed the sliding tube in a way that now allows it to come out if the pedals fall backwards. This is obviously a very dangerous thing to happen in flight so I've been restraining the pedals using a zip tie, but that is a cheap fix.
Instead I designed a neat little fix. I found a small spring at Lowes that was the perfect amount of stiffness and length, attached one end to a zip tie and the other to the back side of each pedal. I actually nailed it on the first try! Now the pedals won't fall backwards, yet the spring is not strong enough to actuate the rudders which is the perfect solution. I'm happy!
