Brief Description:  Small doors and foggy windows

So I learned 2 very valuable lessons today. 1. starting my day in the Word is the BEST way to make sure your mind is right so when the troubles come, they have very little affect. I'm glad I started my day that way because I had troubles on the way.
I found a 2 ply BID scrap that I used for paint samples back in the day that I thought would work great for the front gear door. I may need to add another ply of UNI to stiffin it up but we'll see. I also can't find the hinge spring ANYWHERE so that's a bummer. May have to look harder i guess.
The other side project was an attempt to polish out the lexan lens using sandpaper up to 12000 grit, then polishing with novus. BAD IDEA. The only way to polish lexan is chemically or with a high speed buffer. This is not cool. I've decided that the nose will be one of the first things to take on scratches so Lexan can't be used. I've switched to Acrylic and will be making a new piece.
The GOOD news is that my morning reading reminded me that every little small problem in our lives are exactly that...small. All is well :)
