This was one of those jobs that SHOULD have taken an hour and lasted 3. My mistake was make when attaching the new nose I didn't have the nose gear pivot in place so I now find that the Nose gear NG6 would not fit in between the mounting points without shaving down the points about a mm on each side. REAL PITA and a good lesson learned however now that the gear is in, it's there to stay. At least I hope I don't because it's a very tight fit. Good news is that there is no binding and the retract system is a total success. All the bolts were torqued to spec Inch lbs, and the only thing left is adding the correct cotter pin to the nose wheel castle nut. :)
