Brief Description:  Pins and needles of perfection

I swear a guy could build an entire Vans RV in the time it takes to fill, finish, and finesse a long ez. Perfection is costly but oh so worth it. After opening the canopy gap up even more, I decided to install a temporary weather seal to verify fit, and it worked out perfectly. The seal "just" seals up when the canopy is locked down which means I can now final sand and prep for primer. The canopy to deck still needs a little build up on the deck side so instead of adding a thick layer of micro, I went with a trick that really helped me on my Roncz. I mixed up some slurry and spread it out on both surfaces like I would skim coating. This also filled a bazillion pin holes that I had opened up so It's a win win. This I "hope" will give me just enough build thickness to allow final contour before primer.
While the slurry was setting up, I removed the wheel pants and scuff sanded them for primer as well. I also prepped the nose hatch for primer as I see primer coming within the next 2 days for sure.
The spot filler that had been applied a couple days ago also got sanded down. This birdy is about to lose all it's grey and be completely white. lol. She's an old gal at heart.
