One of the final details left to do before she gets flipped tomorrow was to finalize the landing light lens. The lens has always been screwed in place but the transition from plexiglass to the nose was a little rough. To finish it off, I've always planned to have a small border of the plexiglass painted to tie it all together. Today, I taped off the lines I was going for and and gave her 3 coats of white paint just to help blend her in until final paint is applied. I'll peel the tape tomorrow in hopes that the line is perfect. I still have yet to master the fine art of painting tape application and removal. ;)
