Brief Description:  So. much. micro

If I'm going to be honest, i really could have spent more time adding foam than making up for it with dry micro on this belly scoop, but working upside down is driving me nuts. When I flip the bird upside down for final finishing before paint, I'll have the opportunity to make a new scoop using this current one as a plug. But weight and balance will tell me whether or not it will be worth my time.
However, I am really diggin the new scoop and how it flows into the lower cowling. The aft end of the cowl still doesn't grip me and no boat tail design ever has, so it may change yet again if it doesn't grow on me here over the next few months. For now, I need to get her flying.
I did add 2 plies of BID tape the new inside lip below the firewall and installed the lower cowling to make sure my new cut and contour lines will clear the oil lines and sump. plenty of room.
