I just found out today that it's going to be another couple days before I get my clear coat in the mail so I decided to go ahead and spray the final paint and just give it a good scuffing before laying down the clear when it arrives. I spent a good 1 hour just sanding off grams of paint at a time in order to perfectly balance the blades. I believe if the prop is balanced after each coat, then it will be much easier to balance after the clear goes on and won't require too much cutting and buffing in the end. I don't plan to add lead to final balance this thing. I wet sanded and wet sanded then cleaned her up and sprayed 3 coats of final paint and boy is she gorgeous in this Soft Iron Rusto. I can't wait to see the depth and shine come out after a few coats of clear go on. Oh ya!
