Brief Description: Bubbly champagne is great, bubbly paint..not so mu
So, interestingly after a small run with my engine and cowls on, I noticed that my new paint does NOT like the heat coming from my exhaust pipes. The pipes are WAY too close to the cowling but the primer never bubbled up like this. This means I'll need to add carbon to the affected areas, lower the cowl contour in that spot, and re-micro and paint. I really need at least 1/2" clearance from the pipes and their basically touching the cowling in 2 spots . shame on me :)
