I am waiting on more primer supplies so I decided to sand everything with a fine tooth comb. not literally :) I then had time left to ponder my next steps and decided to go ahead and paint the elevators without primer to save weight and see how well the color coverage is without it. I think that a nice even coat of primer is always best but in effort to keep these light I went for paint. I will be filling a couple small pin holes and wet sanding this paint down a little before adding final paint and clear. This paint has me ecstatic. One can doesn't go very far but will still save me thousands in the end. Can't wait to get that Matte Clear on em too :)
