Brief Description:  Final grey primer applied

4 coats of Grey primer. Yes this is a lot however I plan on wet sanding it all the way to about 1500 grit so I want the material to work with. Plus I was surprised how fast I was cutting through on certain areas on the black and I REALLY don't want to spray this wing again. I also tried rolling and brushing some left over primer onto the rudder and found that rolling produces great results while brushing sucks! However I can't get anywhere near the smooth finish without spraying so the rudder will be sanded down, low spots filled and finally sprayed just like the wing. This will also be the process used for the ailerons. I opted NOT to use black primer on the control surfaces because it's important to keep them as light as possible with the least about of material added.
tomorrow wet sanding will begin and finally the inside of the aileron and rudder channel will get brushed with primer to ensure a total converage. THEN the wing gets hung up like a trophy :)
.....and then I start all over again on the other one. LOL
