The flox and glass had cured well overnight so I trimmed it up and installed the new left canard tip and flushed it with the contour of the canard. Boy, i love the way it looks with the elevators on too. I'm even wondering if there will be a way to build a radiused edge where the two meet or if it will even make a difference. sure would look rad though :) The second tip went on without issues but i did notice a very noticeable difference in the shape of the canard contour from one to another. I really think this means more micro on the canard to make them equal rather than having mismatched tips to hide the canard contour issue. Gotta have it right! I also spent a good 20 minutes making sure both tips were installed with the same incidence angles. After cure Ill give the canard a good micro treatment and start honing in on that contour.
