Brief Description: Firewall pulleys and new cables
Well, while I wait for the UL Power SLOW boat to get here with my 3rd set of new injectors, I've got time to kill. I took that painful step and removed my rudder cables from the pedals to the firewall connector. First thing I did was swage the front ends of the new cables, then ran them through the conduit. Tell ya what, had I done the RUTAN conduit method I'd be hurtin and angry right now. Single conduit all the way up! I then removed the old bellcranks and tried on the new shiny pulley brackets. BOOM perfect fit. couldn't be better. On top of that I found an easy way to plug those large 1" holes using plugs found at Lowes. I'll flox em in tomorrow. But the best part was seeing total clearance between the cables, pushrods, cowling, and brackets. EVERYTHING is right on!....Now I'm just waiting by the phone for the cozy girls to call begging for drawings. LOL. Should only take another day to have it ready for flight.
