Brief Description:  New bellcranks installed

The new aileron bellcranks came in yesterday so I got them installed today and they are NICE N TIGHT. No slop. I've still got a "little" slop in the system that I am almost positive is found in the U-joints. I also spoke with Robert Harris this weekend and he said that they all come with a slight amount of slop in them and that it's normal. He told me that if I "droop" my ailerons about 1/32-1/16" on both wings, then in flight, the controls have a constant "upward" pull on them and that they will fly flush with the wings and tighten up any leftover slop in the system that may exist from those joints. It's brilliant thinking really but I had it backwards when I chose to reflex them hoping they would be pressed DOWN into flush. It's the opposite. THis may very well take care of my control rigging issue found in the last flight and I'm hoping it will. I have another trick I'm going to try in order to find if the rudder cables are sticking and not allowing the rudders to return as well. The next flight will be VERY educating!
