I have a Native American neighbor who is a master in woodwork and making weapons. His skills with leather are part of his trademark and he is for hire! Here I had him wrap both stick grips and the throttle grip with real Deer hide, and sewn with what he calls the cartilage of the dear made into cord. SUPER cool guy to work with. He usually wraps the handles of knives and Bows so he is used to strange curves and can pull the leather tight around them all with no slack. This wrap makes the grips extremely comfortable and able to absorb sweat even better than the Teakwood will so It's a great combination and he claims that he can wrap anything. If you're interested, just let me know. he's not cheap but neither is the quality.
