Here are 2 sets of 4-40 rod. one set is steel and the other is titanium. I was able to use the steel for test and fit, then move on to the titanium as the finished product. The results were interesting. With only 3/4" of threaded portion, the system has limited movement. Ideally I would have 1" of thread to work with, however if flight testing proves that only little roll trim is needed then this setup will be ideal. The plus side is that the titanium will not wear for a LONG time, and the rod is VERY stiff. However, if flight testing shows that I need more throw in the bellcrank, I will have no choice but to use the original all threaded SS rod. Not a big deal, but a little less beneficial. Time will tell....
