Brief Description:  Making a custom throttle grip

Tonight was one of those, "I'm gonna stand here and stare at the project until a great idea happens" Day. :) So after way too much time staring, I thought about how much time I've spent looking for a throttle and Hotas grip that would really fit me. Well, it became obvious that with my hands being slightly smaller than average it was always a pain when some company would make finger cutouts that didn't fit my finger spacing. This led me to get bold and start making my own grips taylored just for me.
I was amazed at how fast material could be removed from the brown foam I used which made things really pleasant. Taking a block and shaving it down to fit my hand perfectly in every corner started making me feel like the stick and throttle would really feel like an extension of my body while flying instead of being bothered by some "1 size fits all" grip. Combine this benefit with saving over $100 and I'm a happy builder :D
