Brief Description:  Turtle Deck sanded and Z-Gripped

Sanding the turtle deck micro right in front of the fuel vent made me nervous. Not crap in my tanks please. With the help of a vacuum and hand sanding, it was ready for primer in 30 minutes.
I then added 2 rounds of Z-Grip on the inside of the turtle deck as I new I'd want easy sanding as it was exotherming rather than to try and sand cured micro up inside there. NO FUN. The Z-Grip was a breeze. Now I need to add interior paint and exterior primer and finish her up.
Finally I added the heat shield to my firewall plate and after the interior paint is cured up, I'll be able to seal this off and be done :) I'm going to roll on the grey primer and see if I'm able to get it good enough for gov. work before applying final primer via spray gun.
