Hold on to your butts people, this thing is gettin real! TONS of work done today. Check this out: I started by cutting out templates for the carpet. Small left and right pieces for the pilot's feet and 1 section for the passenger. I then cut them out as best I could using the black carpet I bought, then ran them down to the flooring store and dropped them off to be bound. Should be done by monday! Next: It was time for a full interior soap and bath scrub, then touch up paint work. After this I used some KABOOM to scrub it all down clean and this helped match the paint sheen even better than a scotchbrite! Thanks BILLY MAYES! Now it's time to start installing panels, plaques and upholstery! BOOM! Throttle quadrant plate installed. Throttle grip installed, both headrests installed. all 4 armrests installed. Passenger warning placard installed. Pee tube and funnel installed! LOL. Magnetometer false wall installed. And finally, replaced panel screws with matching black ones. Looking AWESOME. Cant wait to install the seats and control stick boots! Coming soon.
