Brief Description:  Passenger Headrest

Considering all the hardware that's going to be placed inside the passengers turtle deck I decided it would be best to close off the area and use the panel as a place to mount the headrest as well. This will also mean that the canopy will operate separate from the headrest and since My canopy hinges on the rear, I will not need additional support as it calls out for in the plans.
Construction began with a square piece of white foam. It's the thinnest foam I have so it won the vote. I trimmed and sanded to a good rough fit then laid of 2 plies of BID on BOTH front and back sides. I also opted for .4mil thick plastic underneath and on top after the glass was wetted in order to create a "finish ready" final product. After cure I should be able to peel off the plastic, sand and paint. Too easy. of course I'll need to add my attached points and magnets are still on the maybe list... stay tuned...
