I never took the time to properly install the 4-40 hardware hardpoints inside my wings for attaching the nav lights. Instead I relied on Red RTV which works great but is a PIA to remove. I decided it was time to do it right so I installed 4-40 hardware nuts into the wing tips with micro to flush them out. After cure they will be sanded smooth and primer added for touch up before the nav lights go on. The other major task was to deal with the yellowing lenses that the earlier models had issues with. The powerburst set you buy today does not have these issues so I had to take an hour to re-finish the lenses using a UV block clear coat. Now they look like new and should stay this way for many years.
