Brief Description:  Finally, the probes are programmed

So Yesterday I tried to begin the fuel probe calibrations again when my transfer pump died. UGH! It was an old unit so I knew it was coming, but horrible timing. Instead I found this little GEM of a pump at Lowes. It's a battery powered siphoning pump that cost $10 at harbor freight or like this one, $15 at Lowes. The convenience factor is awesome and the little thing can pump 1.5 gallons a minute or more. Really neat little unit and will be a real help in the future as well. Anyways, I discovered while programming the boxes that while the voltage was reading a full 5v during programming, but when I went to calibrate the levels on the Garmin, the max fuel setting only went to 1.35V for a full tank. However, both probes read this way so I'm sure it has to do with the use of Ethanol. Oh well, I'll make sure to use the fuel totalizer for every flight as a redundant monitoring source. We'll see how they work out after several tanks of this auto fuel. I will say though, that this calibrating sucks, so I'm glad it's done. For now...
