Brief Description: Transponder and Pitot/Static Certification
Today, Merlin from Merlin Avionics Service came by the hangar to certify my pitot / static system and transponder. He had some gear that cost him 25,000 bucks! The good news is that my system was dead on and the Transponder Antenna that's bonded to the right strake and inside the wing cavity worked REALLY Well. This is contrary to some reports I've gotten from other users who only got a weak signal. Another worry, checked off the list. After the ordeal, Merlin told me about a famous burger joint downtown that I've never heard of. it's called Ferrell's and it's been there since 1929. MY GOSH the food was amazing and the bill for both of us was under 10 bucks. I seriously thought Marty McFly was going to walk through the door at any moment. Good DAY!
