Brief Description:  More programming

I was up to 2am this morning reading through the entire 700 + page Garmin G3X manual. I would usually consider a read like this to be a PITA, but Garmin Nailed it. Super easy read with LOTS of pictures and everything flows really well. In Fact, as I sat in front of the EFIS today for 2 hours, I could recall about 95% of what I read from memory. Kudos to Garmin. The bad news is that It has become apparent that a jumper pin is missing from the Pitch servo, and a network error is keeping the transponder from getting its altitude data. Of course, wiring an entire airplane in under 48hrs is going to have these little mistakes included so I'm not upset at all. Harrison Avionics will be coming out to the hangar on Saturday, the 15th, to certify the transponder and tidy up all the lose ends. I will then have the pitot static system tested and certified as well. This means that as of the 15th of this month, I will be doing final taxi testing to get comfortable and confident in this bird, and then she's airborne. I just hope that all that food over Thanksgiving doesn't put my airplane over Gross :)
