So my sump repair was going great. the plug I removed was back in and curing well. And then I decided to post cure. Post cure is great, but not when the surface temp is over 200 degrees. DOH!!!! I put the lamps too close. I came back after 3 hours and found a few large delams under the sump and the plug I installed was puffed out due to expanded foam. this sucks! I was 1 layer of micro away from this job being fixed. So this meant I had to remove the plug (Which damaged it) and lay up 2 more plies of glass and flox to fill the void. I won't be post curing this one. I then also had to dig out the delams, fill them with flox, pure resin, and glass as well. So tomorrow I will be spreading a bit more filler than I had planned. Grrr..OH well. stuff happens.
