The final Layers of BID and UNI strips have been added per plans and I am happy to say that the construction of the strakes is complete!!! I am still amazed that I went through all of my 50 Yds of BID tape and still wasn't close to finishing. I'm guessing 75-100 Yards of BID tape alone to build these bad boys. Crazy. that's a football field. Anyways, I peel plied everything and My wife is set to be back from a 30 day absence tomorrow at 3pm. Great time to be finished with a large section like this. I'll be able to pull off all of the peel ply before she arrives making it really done done! :) Next on the list is finishing up the interior, AKA Fuel lines, throttle cable, new pee line, pilot thigh support, etc. Too cool.
