As long as a deep scratch is not in my line of sight I don't care that much, but I've found 3 that sit right in front of my eyeballs that if I can't repair well enough will call for an entire canopy replacement. Call me anal but the distraction of a bend in light or big scratch will drive me up the wall. I went to auto part store and picked up a window crack repair kit and a clear coat filler pen. I put 3 large scratches on some lexan and filled them all in. 1 of them included some west systems epoxy. My hunch is that I will not be able to repair these scratches. Someone really needs to invent something that can fill a gouge or valley in plexi and melt into the surrounding plexi to become invisible. It would revolutionize every industry that deals with this stuff.
