I couldn't resist the urge to take all the protective coating off and see the canopy for how good it was looking. I spent some time cleaning it up with mineral spirits and noticed a few more minor scratches that seemed to find their pleasant way onto the plexi, but at this point my experience doesn't let me worry about it. :) However while the paint SHOULD have been dry to handle several hours ago, it was "dry" but not cured enough to take any abuse so when I flipped it back over after it's stripping I found I scuffed up the paint where it laid on the sawhorses. DOH! Well that's why I bought this awesome paint. EZ FIX! Cool thing is, it comes in a can as well so it doesn't have to be sprayed on, just a little sanding, a brush, and bam...good as new. I'll keep ya posted on that fix. Oh BTW, in my testing a few months ago I concluded that after 4 weeks, the paint could REALLY withstand abuse. Down side is the 4 week wait time, upside is cost and ease of repair. Ill take it!
