First job today was to drain the tanks completely then perform my W&B.
I didn't have good luck using the new EXPENSIVE scales that I bought for weight and balance but a friend at the airport who built an RV7 let me borrow his. He claims he used them for his W&B and that they worked out really well. After using his scales my empty weight came out to a number that I believe to be very close to reality. All calculations will be done using these results. :)
After this I rolled the airplane out to the pumps to fill it up and calibrate the EFIS for fuel levels but it didn't work out and I need to find out why. bummer.
