Brief Description:  Weight and balance fail

The airplane was placed at a 1.5 degree nose up angle to simulate cruise attitude and the grease plates were made. All fairing were installed and We went to weight the airplane and both main wheel scales read ERROR. DOH! They only went to 400lbs. I went to the store to get ones that went to 440lbs and as soon as we went to measure them, they broke under the wheel. Total fail. Instead I decided I obviously needed to find REAL airplane scales and do this right. However I was determined to run this engine today, so I took it out to the pump, filled the tanks and fired up the engine. I'll just drain the tanks dry when I go to do W and B, however this was a real downer. No worries though, I just need to find some scales that will work.

10/22/14 Update: The airplane is suppose to be perfectly level and NOT nose up during weight and balance. A correction will be made during the next W&B procedure. Thanks Joe!
