This ECU hack has me excited :) All I care about is clean pipes and plugs right now. Everything else will be the cherry on the top. The pot was wired up and mounted to a scrap piece of glass for testing purposes. I went with large 14AWG wire in order to minimize any added resistence from the long run of wire during testing. My goal will be to find out how much the engine can be leaned before running rough and then select the appropriate pot size to allow a safe lean/rich spread without worry of killing the engine in flight. I have no need or desire to shut the engine down via the mixture control knob like I did back in flight training on the ol Cessna 150. The whole idea here is a happier, more fuel efficient setting than the goons at UL offer. I may be able to test her out tomorrow :)
