Brief Description:  Fuel leak spotted, and prep for run #2

While installing the new oil lines I took a minute to look around the engine compartment and noticed fuel stain on the firewall. I traced it to the fine fuel filter banjo fitting. These Euro's use these blasted copper crush washers and I hate them. You have to really muscle them to get a good seal. Well I removed the old washers and installed new ones as well as a new del seal on the fuel line AN fitting just in case. All back together and torqued up, I ran the fuel pumps for a minute and the leaks stopped. I'll keep an eye on these going forward, but at 50 hrs, the filter will be changed anyways.
I also decided I would go ahead and adjust the valves again, but didn't have my gap tool, so that will happen tomorrow. I also removed the cylinder plenums and will be installing a cover over the front two cylinders to help raise temps a bit. I expect I'll need more than just the covers, but it's a start. New plugs will be the next attempt at raising the CHT's on those two.
