Brief Description:  The Catto gets balanced and balancer gets paint

The first runup of my UL Power 520iS was all good except I had noticeable vibration that concerned me a little. Knowing the engine wasn't broken in I wasn't terribly concerned but I was curious if the prop had anything to do with it. Well today I setup a balancer for the Catto prop and did everything I could to get everything perfectly level and found that 1 blade was a lot heavier than the other 2. So much so, that it took sanding through all the clear coat and even into the paint to get this thing to balance. After a solid 2.5hrs of sanding to balance it in all axis, I wanted to make up for any imperfections that may have been in my balancer setup by installing the dynamic balancer I bought from Balance Masters. The balancer had paint chips missing so I sanded it all down and sprayed 3 coats of Sienna Mist. I actually really like this orange color and it sprayed out really nicely. I baked it in the oven at 200 deg. for about 45 min. and it leveled out really nicely. Between the balancer and the prop work, I should see a much smoother running engine the next time. :) I'll get the Catto re-finished at some point, but for now she needs to fly
