Brief Description:  Finalizing the finessing

Wet sanding again today all over using a sponge and sheet of 320 grit paper. I was trying to make sure I wouldn't cut through too many places and have to go back and shoot more primer and it was a pretty good success. Again, the most difficult areas have been those sumps. And sanding primer that hasn't cured yet just makes it worse. I have narrowed down the final areas of this big job to the leading edge of both sumps. It's a difficult place to contour well and white hides imperfectionsl, so it doesn't help the process of finishing. After getting it as close as I could I hit them both with some Rustoleum filler primer. Stuff is like $7 a can and well worth it. I've found it ready to sand in as little as 2 hours and can REALLY fill some voids. I always have a can around for those final fill jobs that need to be done fast. This should do the trick.
Tomorrow I'll sand down this filler and shoot every last area needing white primer, then she will be ready to flip over. Let's get this engine on already!!!
