I'm imagining a june big hitting the new nose at over 200mph and realize a little "light" micro may not last so long. After sanding down the glass plies, I spread out, or should I say "caked on" a thick layer of flocro. Flox and Micro mixed. It will be a bit more work to sand but a much stronger surface as well. History tells me that this is one of probably 6 rounds of filler/primer before she's ready for paint. Well worth the lack of "oh that nose is off".
