Brief Description:  Getting ready for flip #2

This bird was flipped years ago when I first tackled all things "belly" related. I've done a LOT of hard work upside down over the last couple years to tackle the cooling issues and fuel sump leaks along with lower cowling modifications. All these changes make it really difficult to spend time upside down contouring each curve to perfection. Well, now that I've found an oil cooling solution in my belly scoop, The underside of the belly is now ready for final filler and paint. I've decided to flip this bird one more time before paint and tackle every issue that needs to be addressed. This also includes finessing the nose wheel door, landing light lense, and fresh air naca duct. Plus, with new wheels and brakes going in, having her flipped will make a lot of these jobs a lot easier.
I've got a set of rollover jigs that Geg Cross let me borrow, but will be modded using 3/4" oak for strength and accessability for my spar bolts. Next week she will see some much needed attention and a color change for the first time in her life :) Stay tuned..
