Brief Description:  The perfect time to tackle those little jobs

Sometimes, while flying I would think of a little change that needed to happen but after heading home would forget about it, because it was so minor. Well this one came to mind today and having the nose open was the perfect time for the change. Originally, Dale Martin's pedal setup doesn't require this mod, but because I modified his pedals to suit me, I needed a way to keep the pedals from falling back toward my feet and coming off the shaft. This happening in flight would be a real problem. From the beginning I have always been "careful" not to move my feat around in a way that would pull them off the shaft, but I really don't even want the risk. So now a solution.
I found that a small RC Airplane pull pull cable would be sufficient to keep the pedals attached but also be small enough to stay out of the way in such tight places. I made up each cable to be 5" long and presto, Problem solved. Now if my feet accidently pull the pedals toward me in flight, the cable will stop them from sliding off the shaft.
- check that one off the list!
