Brief Description:  Fitting the cowl over the cooler plenum

I'm really diggin the new oil cooler setup. I wanted to see how it all fit together with the cowling exit and found that a LOT of cowl had to be removed to clear the plenum. Not a big deal but I'll most definitely be matching the cowl to the plenum here soon. The idea is a nice tight fit but with about 1/16" -1/8" clearance all the way around to allow for movement and vibration tolerances. One small problem I found was that the new cooler setup didn't end up exactly straight down the centerline. I had to add 1 washer to the right side of the cooler to get it aligned which is no big deal as RTV will fill the gaps. I am however seriously considering shimming the engine mount slightly to the right to take care of a left yaw that I've had. This would allow me to center up the rudders and reduce drag. However, I'm not wanting to ruin the cosmetics of the engine install either, but just a small adjustment shouldn't be noticeable. I'm also taking advantage of this knowing I'll be re-making the cowls, so the spinner should line up perfectly when all is said and done. Right now I really like the idea of the cooler plenum sticking out of the cowling like an exhaust tip. :)
