Brief Description:  Time for another cooler update. A BIG Update

These engines run hot. No one will deny that. In fact, Ray from UL Power decided to switch over to a full synthetic oil to deal with his high temps. I'm going to tackle the issue but more than doubling my oil cooler size.
I took several measurements of the room I had to work with and found that I can squeeze an 18 row oil cooler inside if I'm willing to build a plenum off the firewall and angle the cooler. To start I went ahead and layed up a 3 ply UNI Flange that will attach to the face of the new cooler that's on it's way. This flange will by bonded to a plenum that is glassed to the current intake on the firewall and allow for an even greater expansion and again more than double the cooler surface area. This is a much needed upgrade now that I'm planning on installing a 200hp UL in the next month or so. Either way, Ray's 200hp RV4 is running a 13 row, so I will definitely have the cooler bird ;) Stay Tuned
