One of the worries i've had while seeing these fuel pump leaks develop is having the fuel pump relay mounted on the floor next to the pumps. Fuel and electricity don't mix and I made it a point to solve this problem. I cut out a section of 5/8" MDF to match the relay and coated it in epoxy. Later the standoff block here will get bonded onto the floor and then elevate the relay above the floor, far above any fuel puddles that may haunt me again. The block is now fuel proof and this will be one more of those small tasks done that won't linger in the back of my mind.
