Brief Description:  Carbon removal, glass on and micro filler

I was easily able to cut out the inside layer of carbon that previously was contacting the exhaust pipes, sand smooth the transition from old to new glass and add a layer of BID around the transition. This was the final step needed before the heat shield will be installed. I then added a thin layer of micro to the inside of the new boat tail layups instead of laying up another ply of glass. It's plenty strong for it's shape so the micro will just help the cosmetics of the cowl which, in this area, can be seen from outside the airplane. Finally, I wet sanded the primer on the wheel pant and she is now ready for final spray primer.
