I'm not totally in love with the rough shape of this boat tail idea quite yet, but I think it may be workable. The biggest issue here is having a steep change in contour that may cause some separation which negates the entire mod. If I didn't have those pesky oil lines in the way, I'd be lookin at a perfect pressure recovering cowl here. It's not a terrible thing to re-do if this doesn't work, so I'll give it a try. I'm hoping it will be both functional AND attractive to the eye.
