Brief Description:  Hell is over and fun begins

So, I went through another couple rubber wheels trying to remove the remaining vinyl before completely soaking the vinyl in the worst most destructive chemicals I could find. Totally over this mess. After finally removing all the vinyl I wet sanded until all the residue had been removed. 6 hours later I was finally finished. This process left several areas on the canard that will need repair before final primer and was most definitely a lesson learned. Never will I vinyl again. Hell is over.

On to greener pastures, the day ended on an AMAZING note. The Eastwood 2K Clear works perfectly over Rustoleum. I'm Ecstatic! I tested it over several pieces that were painted with Rustoleum anywhere from 15 min. along to 2 weeks old. The clear goes on so easily that you almost CAN'T screw it up. Seriously, lay it on THICK and it flashes so fast that it does not run. It cures like glass and after 24 hours is totally cured. I can't wait to use the Matte clear and begin testing durability on my Cowls. But first, my lower cowling is getting the ever so loved Boat tail mod. Speed speed speed.
