Brief Description:  IMPORTANT UL POWER UPDATE !!!!

As there are many people who read my build log daily, it is VERY important to me that I share what happened to me today, especially to any potential UL Power buyers. Since I added a ram air intake to my airplane and saw huge HP gains from it, Robert Helms (US UL POWER Rep) has been instructing me to reconfigure my ECU for best performance by running a line from the ECU sensor nipple to a location just ahead of my throttle body. He said it would provide the ECU with better MAP info for a better fuel mixture and possibly more power. Well, it has been a task that I didn't get around to doing until a couple days ago. A couple days after I finished the mod per Roberts instructions, I get an email from him saying that it was a BAD Idea and that I would almost certainly lose power on climb out and at low airspeeds. He said that "NEW data shows this is a bad idea..I no longer recommend it." So where is this "Data" coming from? hmmmm. Either way, sounds like shotgun advise to me.
